Strategic Delivery Solutions (“SDS Rx” or the “Company”) is a leading provider of last mile logistics to the healthcare industry. It provides dedicated, flexible delivery solutions nationwide to long term care, specialty, infusion, nuclear pharmacies, as well as pharmaceutical distributors, labs and healthcare networks.

SITUATION:

Since partnering with financial partner, HCI Equity Partners (“HCI”) in 2018, SDS Rx has been seeking to strengthen its market leadership position in the long-term care (“LTC”) pharmacy market and expand into new markets with new service offerings obtained through add-on acquisitions.

ENGAGEMENT:

As the exclusive buy-side advisor to SDS Rx, G2 Capital Advisors, LLC (“G2”) has led a focused buy-side strategy on identifying and engaging with potential acquisition candidates in the healthcare logistics and services market. HCI and SDS Rx partnered with G2 because of the deep knowledge in the final mile logistics industry. In 2018, G2 served SDS Rx as exclusive sell-side advisor executing the recapitalization with HCI, demonstrating the value in G2’s integrated multi-product and industry-focused approach.

OUTCOME:

G2’s mandate with SDS Rx led to the acquisition of Mission Critical Delivery Solutions, Inc. (“Mission Critical”), a provider of same-day deliveries for long-term care pharmacies. With operations in Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Georgia, Nebraska, Ohio, Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma, Mission Critical will add an enhanced coverage area and deepen SDS’s dedicated delivery solutions within the LTC pharmacy market. Together, SDS Rx and Mission Critical will leverage a newly formed partnership of experienced operators and strong footprint to continue to deliver the highest quality services to their customers.
