Lake is a 4th generation family owned organic juice bottler and distributor. The Company produces 14 types of juices, concentrates, and supplements.
SITUATION:
The ownership family was in disagreement about the path forward of the company, and due to years of underfunding the business had limited liquidity. The Company requested an interim management team be put in place.
ENGAGEMENT:
G2 was awarded the mandate and quickly took management control, navigated complex family dynamics, and delivered a strategic alternatives report to the board. During this time G2 also placed interim management, and an interim CEO to operate the Company and drive top and bottom line growth.
OUTCOME:
G2’s interim management team and interim CEO performed weekly reviews of the staff, grew revenue by ~10%, and increased operating income by 21%.
