After suffering a severe downturn in operational performance, the Company was faced with a constrained liquidity profile – in terms of cash and revolver availability – and was at risk of facing substantial interruptions to its day-to-day operations.
G2 was engaged by the Company to conduct an operational assessment of the business – including a careful review of its discrete business units, profitability, and cash flow. In addition, G2 evaluated management’s turnaround plan and provided a number of additional strategic alternative considerations.
G2 served as Chief Restructuring Officer to develop and implement an operational restructuring plan. In addition, G2 led negotiations with the senior lender to reach a capital solution that provided the cash necessary to preserve liquidity throughout the operational restructuring phase. The adoption of operational initiatives allowed the Company to improve cash management and reduce its overall costs – leading to a period of business stability.
