ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Aurora Flight Sciences is a leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced unmanned systems (“UAS”) and aerospace vehicles. Based in Manassas, VA, Aurora participates in several segments of the UAS market, serving as a sole-source manufacturer of advanced composite structures utilized in platforms such as Global Hawk / Triton and the Gulfstream G500, and developing UAS platforms such as the Centaur and Orion.
SITUATION:
The Company sought to refinance it’s current debt and raise capital to fund continued growth driven by customer demand for its products, research, and services in the aero structures and UAS markets.
ENGAGEMENT:
G2 was the exclusive financial advisor to Aurora.
OUTCOME:
The transaction was successfully executed through a financing by PNC Bank and Enlightenment Capital. Aurora is able to expand the Company’s development and manufacturing scale as demand continues to increase, while Enlightenment’s expertise in the sector will ensure Aurora’s strategy and investments remain aligned to expanding military and commercial market opportunities.
