Phase 1 Strategic Assessment
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The Company provides various locally-hosted, event experiences across 1,400 cities across North America through a licensed, branded operating model. The company was owned by a financial sponsor.
SITUATION:
Following a period of licensee mismanagement driving significant attrition, the Company suffered poor financial performance, cash flow degradation, the loss of key employees necessitating a significant restructuring effort.
ENGAGEMENT:
The Company engaged G2 to perform a Phase 1 assessment, with a scope focused on an evaluation of the Company’s financial and liquidity forecasts, restructuring initiatives, and its licensee model / structure.
OUTCOME:
G2 worked with management and the sponsor to evaluate the historical and projected financial performance of the Company and provided analyses of further operational improvement initiatives. Additionally, G2 created financial forecasting tools for the Company to monitor performance of the restructuring efforts with G2 operating in ongoing advisory role as management implemented its cost-cutting initiatives.
