Midstate Mechanical is a leading supplier of mechanical contracting services to industrial and commercial clients in the Southwest. The Company has built its reputation as a reliable provider in all major phases of mechanical work – including process piping, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and special project services.
SITUATION:
Midstate Mechanical's founder was seeking a solution to recapitalize Midstate Energy, a non-core subsidiary, and find the right partner to help Midstate Energy execute on its clearly defined growth strategy.
ENGAGEMENT:
G2 was engaged to represent Midstate Mechanical as its exclusive Sell-Side Advisor and was responsible for running a high-touch divestiture process.
OUTCOME:
Bow River Capital Partners partnered with Midstate Mechanical's management team to recapitalize and acquire a controlling interest in Midstate Energy, as well as select service assets of Midstate Mechanical. The transaction included the separation and acquisition of the performance contracting and services divisions of Midstate Mechanical.
