Accounting Management Solutions, Inc. (“AMS”) is a leading provider of staffing and professional services. AMS offers accounting, financial management, outsourcing, and consulting services to privately-held and publicly traded businesses. Management has identified several organic and acquisition growth opportunities to build upon the Company's current platform, diversified service offering, and solid customer base.
SITUATION:
The Company was seeking the right strategic buyer to support its next phase as it continued its rapid growth. Becoming part of larger organization was considered an important strategic step for its go-to-market offering.
ENGAGEMENT:
Given its understanding of the business services industry and relationships with its key players, G2 was engaged to act as the exclusive sell-side advisor responsible for running a targeted, discreet and high-touch process for the sale of AMS.
OUTCOME:
The transaction was successfully executed through a sale to CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP ("CLA"), a professional services firm offering integrated wealth advisory, outsourcing, and public accounting capabilities. CLA has its headquarters in Minneapolis and more than 90 locations across the U.S.
