ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Danforth Advisors, LLC (“Danforth”) provides operational accounting support and finance strategy to life sciences and healthcare companies. Danforth performs activities ranging from accounting and operational finance services to capital raising, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings.
SITUATION:
The principals of Danforth were seeking to sell all or a majority of the Company and were looking for a partner to lead the next stage of the firm’s well-defined and aggressive growth strategy.
ENGAGEMENT:
Given its extensive experience in and understanding of the business services space, as well as its relationships with the segment’s key players, G2 was engaged as the exclusive Sell-Side Advisor to Danforth and tasked with running a high-touch and expeditious sale process.
OUTCOME:
The transaction was successfully executed through a sale to Stone Goff Partners, a New York-based private equity firm focused on business services and consumer investing.
