ABOUT THE COMPANY:
InterMed is a premier provider of integrated healthcare technology management services. The Company is sponsor owned and provides an array of asset management options for clients. Such as comprehensive medical equipment planning and strategic coverage of key divisions or modalities in support of in-house, OEM or hybrid solutions.
SITUATION:
The Company was exploring ways to grow their existing long-term services business with hospitals, while diversifying their geographical footprint, and being able to better serve clients across the Northeast region.
ENGAGEMENT:
G2 represented InterMed as its exclusive buy-side and corporate development advisor responsible for running a high-touch process. G2 sourced proprietary opportunities directed toward companies that would add additional service contracts and skilled technicians to the InterMed portfolio.
OUTCOME:
The deal was successfully executed in February of 2020. The transaction expanded the Company’s service contracts, added 12 skilled technicians to the team, and created a network of new customers that will drive additional growth for years to come.
