Jeff Weiner
Vice President, Restructuring
Jeff Weiner is a Vice President at G2 Capital Advisors within the Restructuring & Revitalization Group, where he guides companies through periods of transformation by managing operational and balance sheet restructurings, special situations transactions, and complex stakeholder negotiations, both in and out of court.
Jeff has advised clients across a range of industries, including Consumer & Retail, Technology & Business Services, Industrials & Manufacturing, and Healthcare Technology. His work spans company-side and lender-side mandates, from serving as Interim CFO during operational turnarounds to leading liquidity management efforts and advising on distressed M&A. He is skilled at combining deep operational assessments with strategic execution, enabling clients to navigate critical inflection points and preserve or unlock enterprise value.
Recent engagements include serving as company-side financial advisor to a national consumer food brand, where his operational assessment and balance sheet restructuring strategy led to the successful monetization of key intellectual property prior to wind-down. Jeff also advised the first lien lender to a SaaS marketing technology company, guiding the client through operational review and a special situations sale process. Jeff served as Interim CFO of a packaging wholesaler, where he helped stabilize the finance and accounting team, navigated tight liquidity, accelerating reporting timelines, and revamped the forecasting process. Most recently, he advised on the successful sale of Project Scrubs, a healthcare technology company, to a publicly traded strategic buyer.
Prior to joining G2, Jeff was a Director at Ernst & Young, overseeing a range of restructurings, including bankruptcy filings. He also held roles at Moss Adams and Mackinac Partners, supporting restructuring engagements that included interim CFO appointments. Earlier in his career, he lived in Moscow for three years, editing English-language equity research reports at Alfa Bank, Russia’s largest private bank.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Russian from Beloit College and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He has completed all three levels of the Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) program and is active in the Dallas Turnaround Management Association Chapter.
When not helping clients navigate change, Jeff is busy keeping up with his two young children and two dogs.
