Situation

Since being acquired by RFE, ZRG has grown exponentially via organic growth and M&A efforts. To build on this momentum, ZRG and G2 identified avenues to diversify further expanding the human capital management services portfolio. Initially, the focus was on consulting, interim/outsourced services, and now recruiting process outsourcing (“RPO”). Through a targeted M&A effort, G2 focused on expanding ZRG’s product/service offering by adding RPO.

Engagement

G2 Capital Advisors, LLC (“G2”) has served as the exclusive buy-side advisor to ZRG for the past few years. This strategic growth work has recently included an acquisition strategy focused on identifying and engaging with potential candidates in the recruiting process outsourcing (“RPO”) market. ZRG and RFE continued their partnership with G2 to leverage the firm’s deep-rooted expertise across the Technology & Business Services practice.

Outcome

G2’s mandate with ZRG led to an acquisition of Hub Recruiting, a leading boutique RPO (Recruiting Process Outsourcing) firm. Headquartered in Bedford, MA, Hub Recruiting is a leading RPO that partners with growing technology companies by providing embedded recruiters and entire recruiting teams for hiring challenges that range from one hire to entire organizational buildouts. ZRG and Hub will leverage an extensive network of human capital search professionals, business consultants, and interim financial professionals to better serve its client base.
