ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The Company is an accredited graduate school offering masters and doctoral degree programs in the traditions of depth psychology. Students have access to an impressive array of educational resources on the company's two campuses, both of which are located a few miles south of Santa Barbara, California.
SITUATION:
The Company's Provost/CEO managed the business through a period of challenges that impacted the future viability of the school. These included legacy transitions, real estate usage, high turnover of senior professors, poor ratings online leading to lower enrollment, and some general dysfunction of the Board.
ENGAGEMENT:
G2 advised Senior Leadership and Board of Directors on strategic allocation of resources, revision to the Board makeup, ongoing support of the CEO, and eventual placement of a COO and CFO.
OUTCOME:
G2 assisted in installing new leadership, reinvigorated the Board, stabilized the employee stock ownership plan, and developed a plan for profitability.
