Enru Logistics (“Enru” or “the Company”), a division of LSC Communications’ Magazine, Catalog and Logistics business (“MCL”), is a leading provider of asset-light logistics services headquartered in Bolingbrook, IL. The Company specializes in palletized freight consolidation, mail optimization services, and value-added warehousing and distribution, serving B2B and B2C customers across the retail, financial, consumer products, publishing, and marketing sectors.

Enru offers a comprehensive suite of services including freight brokerage, warehousing, inventory management, shipping and receiving, truckload and less-than-truckload freight shipping, intermodal transportation, and reverse logistics. The Company’s deep expertise in supply chain optimization, combined with its national consolidation network and longstanding carrier relationships, enables clients to reduce distribution costs, improve delivery cycle times, and streamline their supply chain operations.

Situation

MCL was separated into distinct businesses with clear go-to-market and value propositions in 2023 to better serve the needs of a changing market landscape. In February 2024, Kodi Collective, MCL’s publishing and creative services hub, was sold to CJK Group. In April 2025, MCL divested Enru’s postal optimization assets, including its co-mail operations and commercial book of business. With those transactions complete, LSC engaged G2 to manage the sale of Enru’s logistics business.

Throughout this process, Enru had continued to build a differentiated, asset-light logistics platform with deep customer relationships and proven operational expertise. Enru sought a strategic buyer capable of accelerating the Company’s growth trajectory and delivering long-term value for its customers and team members.

The Company engaged G2 to evaluate strategic options, articulate Enru’s growth story, and identify a partner capable of supporting continued expansion of its logistics platform.

Engagement & Outcome

G2 designed and executed a tailored, highly competitive M&A process focused on identifying partners with the operational capabilities, capital resources, and strategic alignment to support Enru’s long-term ambitions.

G2 leveraged its sector expertise and extensive investor network to articulate Enru’s value proposition to the market, emphasizing the Company’s differentiated asset-light model, comprehensive service offering across freight, warehousing, and distribution, and deep, long-standing customer relationships across its core end markets.

The process culminated in Enru’s selection of United Business Mail as the partner of choice.
