Atlantic Packaging Products (“Atlantic Packaging”) is one of the largest privately-owned integrated corrugated packaging companies in Canada. The Company provides packaging solutions through key business divisions including Corrugated and Color Packaging, Recycled Paper Mills, Retail Packaging & Displays, Paper Bag Products, Supply & Inventory Management, and Recycling.

SITUATION:

Atlantic Packaging enjoyed years of robust growth, but wanted to size up its expansion through partnering with other companies within the space to expand its geography and capabilities to a broader customer base.

ENGAGEMENT:

G2 represented Atlantic Packaging Products as its exclusive buy-side and corporate development advisor responsible for running a high-touch inorganic growth strategy to achieve its long term goals. G2 sought opportunities and facilitated dialogues with other players within the industry.

OUTCOME:

Atlantic Packaging Products engaged with York Container Company, based in York, Pennsylvania, to form a strategic partnership. Details and terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
