Situation
Management was seeking to recapitalize the Company’s credit facility. Due to the uniqueness of the industry / sector, G2 needed to develop a highly targeted financing process and approach, which leveraged the specific assets of the Company.
Engagement
G2’s two-pronged mandate was (1) to negotiate with the incumbent bank group, and (2) to successfully originate a unitranche credit facility. G2 leveraged its extensive industry contacts in the private credit market to source and identify appropriate partners who understood the Company and were willing to underwrite its unique group of assets.
Outcome
The Company successfully closed on a unitranche credit facility with Gulf Coast Capital, a Florida-based family office fund.
