Situation
The company had a challenging capital structure and needed to right-size for its current financial profile. There was also a series of management issues and challenges, which led to the original founder coming back into the Company in a senior leadership position.
Engagement
G2 was engaged by the Company to conduct an operational assessment and evaluate management’s proposed revitalization plan. In addition, G2 assisted with internal budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and revenue / gross profit analysis efforts. G2 worked with management on a restructuring plan and identified areas for cost-savings through consolidation and other efficiency gains.
Outcome
G2 worked closely with management to right-size the business plan in terms of both the margin profile and overall working capital. There was a substantial focus on creating liquidity from the existing working capital, as well as on reducing the debt service. G2 and the management team developed a series of communication strategies and executed to the various stakeholders, customers, and global footprint of suppliers.
