Situation
As North America’s leading testing, certification and repair platform, MTA has built a strong reputation for exceptional service. The Company has experienced over 20 years of organic growth, supplemented by a clearly defined acquisition strategy, supported in partnership by its financial sponsor, Riverarch. The MTA team engaged G2 Capital Advisors, LLC (“G2”) with a focus on identifying and driving growth through targeted geographic expansion and service-line extensions to offer additional services to the Company’s existing client base and foster new customer relationships.

G2 served as the exclusive buy-side advisor to MTA, leading a search targeted at identifying and engaging with companies with an established market position and strong reputation for quality service.
Outcome
G2’s mandate with MTA led to the successful acquisition of Silver Reef Biomedical Services, Inc (“Silver Reef”), marking the Company’s strategic expansion into the biomedical services sector. Silver Reef provides biomedical equipment repair, maintenance, calibration, inspection, and installation services to medical and scientific facilities. The added service offerings further establish MTA as a leading single-source healthcare services provider. Through the acquisition of Silver Reef, MTA is well positioned to drive continued growth and deliver superior value to its customers throughout the United States.
