Huy Tran

Director, Restructuring

Huy Tran is a Director in G2 Capital Advisors’ Restructuring & Revitalization group.

Huy has helped organizations across the consumer-packaged goods, e-commerce, logistics, retail, and technology industries navigate high growth and transition periods for the last 20 years. He has consistently built and managed highly effective finance teams capable of executing ambitious business development and financial planning strategies, with experience handling capital raises, M&A diligence and integration, and transaction carve-outs.

At G2, Huy works across operational restructuring, interim management, balance sheet restructuring, and bankruptcy advisory engagements.

Prior to joining G2, Huy worked as a Director within the Turnaround and Restructuring Services Group of AlixPartners. He has also held multiple corporate financial leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of Finance at Speed Commerce, where he worked with G2 to manage Speed’s successful acquisition of a growing e-commerce company. Huy built experience at Berkeley Research Group as well, providing restructuring advisory services to an array of corporate clients.

Huy earned his B.S. in Business Administration from San José State University and his MBA from the University of San Francisco.
