Justin Li

Associate, Restructuring

Justin is an Associate on G2 Capital Advisors’ Restructuring team, where he supports clients through complex financial and operational transformations. He works closely with management teams, boards, and stakeholders to develop and execute strategic turnaround plans. Justin leads workstreams across liquidity management, business unit analysis, and stakeholder communications, and builds sophisticated financial models, including 13-week cash flows and long-term forecasts. He also contributes to initiatives such as vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and divestiture planning—helping clients stabilize operations, restructure capital, and regain financial flexibility.

Justin brings a strong foundation in credit analysis and private capital markets. Prior to joining G2, he was a Private Credit Investment Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he underwrote senior and subordinated debt investments across a range of industries and capital structures. He also gained early-stage and middle-market investing experience through roles at BNP Paribas and Groupe Caisse des Dépôts, where he supported venture capital and private equity transactions.

Justin graduated from the University of International Relations in Beijing and received a master’s in Finance and Strategy from Sciences Po, Paris. Justin lives in Downtown Boston and is fluent in four languages: Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, French, and English. He is working on adding Spanish as his fifth language.
