Dan Devorsetz

Dan Devorsetz is a Managing Director on the Insolvency and Fiduciary Services team at G2 Capital Advisors. With over 25 years of experience in the venture lending industry, Dan has functioned as a trusted partner to development-stage company executives and their investors, helping them navigate major organizational and market challenges.

Prior to joining G2, Dan worked for over 20 years at the publicly traded venture lending platform Horizon Technology Finance. He held multiple executive leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer, and helped guide and grow the organization to a successful acquisition. Dan has deep strategic planning and financial modelling expertise, having assessed business plans for hundreds of businesses across numerous industries, including technology, life science, healthcare services, sustainability, and e-commerce.

At G2, Dan utilizes his broad experience in the venture ecosystem and collaborates across the firm to build tailored solutions to help venture-backed companies assess their options in an evolving and challenging fundraising environment.

Dan earned his B.S. from Cornell University and his MBA from Clark University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Dan lives in Essex, CT with his wife. While his three children have launched, his two cats are permanent residents.  Dan enjoys hiking and kayaking along the Connecticut shoreline and is a frequent guest lecturer at several colleges and universities in the area.
