Glenn Bernabeo Joins G2 Capital Advisors as MD, Restructuring

G2 Capital Advisors Strengthens Special Situations Capabilities with the Addition of Glenn Bernabeo as Managing Director

Seasoned dealmaker brings over 20 years of experience across M&A, capital markets, and restructuring advisory

Boston, MA—[April 22, 2025]—G2 Capital Advisors (“G2”), a leading investment banking and restructuring advisory firm, is pleased to welcome Glenn Bernabeo as a Managing Director, further expanding the firm’s capabilities in special situation transactions. 

With more than two decades of experience, Glenn has advised on a broad range of high-stakes engagements, specializing in sell-side M&A, capital raises, and financial restructurings. Glenn has executed transactions across complex situational dynamics including in-court 363 sales, article 9 foreclosures, and challenging carve outs. His deep industry knowledge—particularly in healthcare provider services and real estate—adds valuable depth to G2’s sector-focused teams and strengthens the firm’s ability to support clients facing inflection points or transformational moments. 

Glenn joins G2 from Griffin Financial Group, where he co-led a nationally recognized special situations practice. During his 15-year tenure, he led more than 40 successful transactions, helping clients navigate operational and capital structure challenges to achieve exceptional outcomes. Glenn’s experience is distinguished not only by his advisory background but also by direct operational leadership: he acquired and led the turnaround of a distressed middle-market business, giving him firsthand insight into the realities faced by company owners and management teams. 

Prior to Griffin, Glenn held senior positions at Phoenix Capital Resources, SSG Capital Advisors, RHB Acquisition, and Berwind Financial, and began his career in corporate banking at PNC Bank. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University, an MBA in Finance from Penn State University, and is a CFA charterholder.
