G2 Capital Advisors Infuses Restructuring & Revitalization Team
With New Talent

Boston, MA – February 2, 2026 – G2 Capital Advisors (“G2”), a leading middle-market investment bank and restructuring advisory firm, announced the addition of four new team members: Dan Devorsetz, Huy Tran, Kyler Merck, and Will Bobear.

Dan Devorsetz, Managing Director, Insolvency and Fiduciary Services, Restructuring & Revitalization

Dan arrives with 25 years of experience in the venture lending industry, driving AUM growth and investment returns through effective credit, compliance, and risk management strategies. He brings extensive strategic planning and financial modelling expertise, having assessed business plans for, and underwritten and managed loans to, hundreds of businesses across numerous
industries. Dan has, throughout his career, functioned as a trusted partner to portfolio company executives and their investors, helping them navigate major organizational and market challenges.

At G2, Dan will collaborate with fellow executive leaders and a growing junior team to build tailored solutions to help venture-backed companies assess their options in an evolving and challenging fundraising environment.

Prior to joining G2, Dan worked for over 20 years at the publicly traded venture lending platform Horizon Technology Finance, where he held multiple executive leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer, and helped guide and grow the organization through various market cycles.

Huy Tran, Director, Restructuring & Revitalization

For the last 20 years, Huy has helped organizations across the consumer-packaged goods, ecommerce, logistics, retail, and technology industries navigate high growth and transition. He has consistently built and managed highly effective finance teams capable of executing ambitious business development and financial planning strategies, with experience handling
capital raises, M&A diligence and integration, and transaction carve-outs.

At G2, Huy will work on the Restructuring & Revitalization team across operational restructuring, interim management, balance sheet restructuring, and bankruptcy advisory engagements.

Prior to joining G2, Huy was a Director within the Turnaround and Restructuring Services Group of AlixPartners. He has also held multiple corporate financial leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of Finance at Speed Commerce, where he worked with G2 to manage Speed’s successful acquisition of a growing ecommerce company. Huy spent time with
Berkeley Research Group as well, providing restructuring advisory services to an array of corporate clients.

Kyler Merck, Vice President, Restructuring & Revitalization

Kyle brings significant investment evaluation and management experience, with specific expertise in cashflow modeling and international and multinational finance. He has long been a reliable partner for organizations navigating challenging financial difficulties, exercising a keen grasp of financial dynamics and a deep commitment to achieving the best results for clients across multiple industries, including the aerospace, aviation, energy, manufacturing, and transportation and logistics sectors.

At G2, Kyler will work on the Restructuring & Revitalization team managing operational and balance sheet restructurings and supporting special situations transactions and complex stakeholder negotiations.

Prior to joining G2, Kyler was a Turnaround and Restructuring Consultant at the management consulting firm CR3 Partners, where he developed and implemented restructuring and turnaround strategies for distressed middle-market companies. He also held roles at RSM, the SMBC Group, the GATX Corporation, and KPMG.

Will Bobear, Associate, Insolvency and Fiduciary Services, Restructuring & Revitalization

Will joins G2 as an Associate on the Insolvency and Fiduciary Services team where he will support G2’s efforts to wind down challenged businesses with detailed financial accounting and cash management capabilities.

Previously, he worked as a Senior Accounting Operations Associate at Prime Medicine. Will has also held internship positions with the Boston Red Sox
and Goldman Sachs.
