Owen Gordon

Associate, Restructuring

Owen Gordon is an Associate on G2 Capital Advisors’ Restructuring team, where he supports clients through complex financial and operational transformations. He partners with management teams, board members, and stakeholders to evaluate strategic alternatives and design and execute turnaround strategies. At G2, Owen leads workstreams across liquidity management, business unit analysis, stakeholder communications, and the development of sophisticated financial models—including 13-week cash flows and long-term forecasts. He also contributes to initiatives such as vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and divestiture planning, helping clients stabilize operations, restructure capital, and restore financial flexibility.

Owen brings a strong foundation in operational analysis and strategic problem-solving. Prior to joining G2, he was an Operations and Finance Analyst at Green Mattress Recycling, a sustainability-focused start-up in Greater Boston, where he built the company’s finance and operations functions. In that role, he drove efficiencies in procurement, plant operations, and labor optimization—initiatives that increased throughput and reduced working capital requirements. Owen remains an investor in Green Mattress and actively supports its Board of Directors with strategic analysis and decision-making.

Owen earned his B.A. from Colgate University, where he double majored in Economics and Environmental Studies. He lives in New York City and enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, surfing, and exploring new restaurants across Manhattan.
