Rhett Ross

Managing Director, Restructuring

Rhett Ross is a Managing Director in G2 Capital Advisors’ Restructuring & Revitalization practice. Prior to joining the team full-time, Rhett worked with G2 as a Senior Advisor, supporting complex restructuring and transformation engagements. His recent experience includes serving in leadership and advisory roles on assignments such as the operational turnaround of ACS Industries, a family-owned global automotive parts supplier, and other multifaceted cross-border restructuring mandates. Rhett specializes in providing interim leadership, chief restructuring officer (CRO) services, leadership assessments, and advisory support focused on financial restructuring, operational revitalization and supporting company’s going through a bankruptcy process.

Before joining G2, Rhett built a 35-year career as an executive and operator across industrial engineering, manufacturing, and technology. He previously served as CEO of Continental Aerospace Technologies and President of Teledyne Continental Motors, both leading aerospace engine manufacturing and service businesses with international footprints. Earlier in his career, he held multiple leadership roles within Teledyne Technologies and led several business restructurings and international M&A transactions with enterprise values up to $200 million, including a public listing of Continental Aerospace Technologies on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

In addition to his client work, Rhett currently advises two family-owned businesses as a board member, leveraging his deep operational background and restructuring expertise to support governance, leadership, and performance improvement.

Rhett holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Florida. He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Service.

Based in South Alabama, Rhett enjoys boating and fishing in Mobile Bay. He is also an active woodworker and, in keeping with his passion for revitalization, restores and reconditions woodworking equipment.
