Associate, Restructuring

SP is an Associate at G2 Capital Advisors, supporting the firm’s Restructuring and M&A practices. He specializes in executing complex financial and operational restructurings with a focus on building robust analytical tools that help clients make informed and strategic decisions.

At G2, SP creates sophisticated financial models, including integrated three-statement models that allow for detailed scenario analysis to evaluate multiple strategic paths, and 13-week cash flow forecasts enhanced by in-depth variance analysis to improve accuracy over time and strengthen stakeholder confidence in short-term liquidity. He also develops targeted, case-specific analyses to address critical client questions.

His industry experience spans Industrials & Manufacturing, including packaging, food manufacturing, HVAC, and life science research tools, as well as Consumer & Retail, where he has worked on quick-service restaurant engagements. Notably, on Project Takeout, a multi-unit pizza franchise restructuring, SP built a weekly gross margin dashboard that provided management with a high-level view of store-level performance, enabling faster and more informed operational decisions.

Prior to joining G2, SP was a Turnaround and Restructuring Analyst at Accordion, where he performed deep analysis of current and historical business performance and supported the development of corporate strategic plans. Earlier in his career, he worked in Risk Management at Cambridge Savings Bank, a Massachusetts-based commercial bank.

SP earned his degree in Statistics and Finance from Elon University. Originally from Kenya, he now resides in Boston, Massachusetts, where he enjoys golf, tennis, and traveling.
