The Company has identified a clearly defined acquisition strategy to effectuate a long-term growth objective of becoming a preferred, single-source vendor for fire and life safety needs.  

Engagement

Thompson Safety and Berkshire Partners engaged G2 Capital Advisors, LLC (“G2”) as the exclusive buy-side advisor to identify and pursue acquisition opportunities that align with the company’s growth objectives. Leveraging its deep industry expertise and customized approach, G2 Capital Advisors played a pivotal role in facilitating this acquisition to advance Thompson Safety’s growth objectives. G2 conducted extensive outreach across this highly fragmented industry, carefully vetting hundreds of companies to identify the ideal strategic fit.

Outcome

Thompson Safety successfully acquired Kingdom Fire Protection LLC (“Kingdom Fire Protection”), a Michigan-based provider of fire life safety system services and repair, in December 2024. This acquisition enhances Thompson Safety’s presence in the Midwest and expands its capabilities to include first aid services, AED services, eyewash station services, comprehensive safety training, and access to a broader selection of personal protective equipment (PPE).
