G2 Capital Advisors announced today that Scott Yen has joined the firm as a Director in the San Francisco office and Emily Murphy has joined as an Analyst in the firm’s Boston office. Scott will be joining G2’s Technology and Business Services practice and Emily will support the execution of M&A and financing projects and business development efforts across our practice areas.
Scott brings over 10 years of investment banking and finance experience at Wunderlich Securities, Capstone Partners, and Arthur Andersen, and over nine years as an entrepreneur as the founder and CEO of Aquavista Enterprise, a global consumer products and e-commerce company. Most recently, as a Vice President with Wunderlich Securities, a national full-service investment bank, Scott led the technology investment banking practice focusing on advising clients in the e-commerce, SaaS and enterprise software, security software, and networking sectors. Scott graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Political Science.
Prior to joining G2, Emily worked for KeyBanc Capital Markets’ Industrials investment banking team in Cleveland. As an Analyst at Key, Emily focused on sell-side and buy-side advisory engagements across the distribution, building products, specialty chemicals, business services, and infrastructure industries. Prior to working full time at Key, Emily was a Summer Analyst with KeyBanc and interned with London-based asset management firm D2 Private. Emily graduated from Boston University with a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and International Relations.
