G2 Capital Advisors announced today that Nina Eigerman has joined the firm as a Managing Director with a focus on M&A, buy-side advisory, and transaction advisory services.
“We are excited to have Nina join our firm, given her depth of experience in executing growth strategies and positioning companies for growth,” said G2 CEO, Jeffrey Unger. “She has experience with both small and large transactions and can help companies through every stage of the process.”
Ms. Eigerman brings over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business builder, and manager.
She spent seven years at McKinsey & Company working with companies in the technology, consumer, and retail sectors and was a leader in the Global Sales Force & Channel Management practice as well as the North American Retail practice.
While at McKinsey, Eigerman managed the M&A process for clients, including target identification, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, and post merger integration. She also assisted with the launch of new businesses and helped several Private Equity firms evaluate potential investments.
After leaving McKinsey, Eigerman joined Darwin Networks as the SVP of Content. She was responsible for creating an on-line portal for the company’s multi-family residential and hospitality clients. She subsequently helped lead the company as it prepared to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Her next role was as part of the senior leadership team of Aquent, a global marketing staffing firm, where she was President of Aquent Solutions and was responsible for several new business lines, including the acquisition and integration of a training division. During her 5 years leading the business she more than tripled the revenues of these divisions.
Most recently, Eigerman was Vice President in the New Growth Platforms group and in the Retail Branding & Information Solutions Division at Avery Dennison. There she was responsible for developing the RFID business for retail apparel customers including Walmart and other key consumer brands. She helped to develop the strategy for the business and evaluated both acquisitions and divestures as part of that process.
A graduate of MIT’s Sloan School of Management, Eigerman also has a AB magna cum laude from Harvard College.
