A retired military officer with over 20 years of service in both the U.S. Air Force and Army special operations communities, he has led some of our Nation’s most elite counter-terrorism forces during combat operations in Panama, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Prior to G2 Capital Advisors, Bob was the founder of Talon Solutions, Inc., a management and leadership consulting firm that partnered with business executives to help them achieve their greatest potential.
Mr. Kinder’s articles have been published in newspapers and journals nationwide including: The Boston Globe, New York Daily News, Atlantic, and the Harvard Kennedy School Review. A gifted speaker, he is a regular guest of radio and television stations across the country and relied upon to provide expert commentary on America’s most critical security issues as well as address current leadership challenges.
Mr. Kinder holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Masters in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Bob was recently appointed by Governor Charlie Baker as a member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Military Asset and Security Strategy Task Force and also serves as a Director for the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation. Additionally, Bob serves as a Director for GI Plastek, an injection molding manufacturer in New Hampshire.
He serves on the board of Trustees at William James College and on the Advisory Committees for the following organizations:, “Shoulder to Shoulder” of the Boston’s Jewish Family & Children’s Services (JF&CS) and the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Home Base Program.
Bob lives in West Newton, MA, and has two children attending college in Seattle, WA. He enjoys fly-fishing and riding his Harley.
